been in a cocoon since Christmas eve and now I'm starting to poke my head out, this month with only having to dedicate to the december views has been good for my soul. Not "having" to really write has freed me up a bit. now, with the new year approaching I'm feeling things brewing, bubbling up to the surface. Still haven't chosen my word for 2010.....it's not coming as easy as it did last year. So many things on the cusp of happening....I'll be sure to post once it comes to me. In the meantime we're still in december and i'm only giving you views for the last few days...

Happy Holidays everyone ~ much love and thank you for always supporting me here!

Me : One of my favorite places to go when I can get away or even go with the kids ~ Alameda Crown Beach.
When we had to move from the City to Alameda after Kadison was born, I knew it wasn't going to be as bad as I thought since I knew there was a beach to still go to close by. I'm drawn to water and having it near by is crucial to my well being. When my toes hit the sand and I can hear the waves it seems all the troubles I've been having melt away.
Jen:One of my favorite places to escape to is the Fox River Bike Trail.
The trail is 32 miles long and weaves along the old river. And if you go early in the morning, or on a day when the weather keeps others at bay, you can walk or ride for miles in solitude. Each change of season brings a different kind of beauty and leaves me at ease each time I visit.

I was recently reading this from one of my favorites and thought what a great idea!
I've been at a loss for words anyhow and this way I have a reason to not write.
We shall see if it lasts....
