a shift

it's been awhile and i've been coming back to this page to write and nothing has come out but tonight I need to write something
i miss it
some people are surprised i'm able to post as much as i do since the 2nd kiddo has come along
but i feel like i'm never here
running from one to thing to another and not having enough time to catch a breath
but tonight the breeze is coming through the window
the curtain sways
it reminds me of the beach, somehow
a little push ...

a shift is happening, not sure how much or what it is but i feel something shifting
maybe it's me getting into somewhat of a crazy groove
or
one little kiddo is sleeping more and the older one is too
maybe it's that i'm giving myself a break and the others around me
maybe it has everything to do with it being JUNE and it's
Birthday Month
it used to be Birthday Month and then it went to Birthday Week and now it's pretty much just Birth-Day
I have plans to take the day off
get a long awaited massage
breakfast out (my all time favorite things to do)
a movie and shopping
and to top it all
dinner with some fabulous women
i couldn't ask for more
spending time with girlie friends is so past due
nothing like girlie time
to bring upon a shift
