almost 90 here today...a lot of trying to stay cool and a bit of a water fight mixed in with it...made me think of the dog days of summer back in Wisconsin where running through the sprinkler on summer break was the highlight of life!

Also, way back when we had one of the first automatic ice makers on our block so sometimes, when it was unusually hot, you would find lots of kids sitting on our front lawn in the evening eating ice cubes. Now when it gets really hot I say it's "an ice cube on the lawn night".
