this week I've been off from work ~ enjoying time with Kadison, breathing, getting my life a bit back in order since all the family has left ..visiting with friends and taking a stroll with little Ben.
Ben and I headed out for a beautiful walk so Andrea could get some stuff done and it was as much a treat for me as it was for her. Walking around in a new neighborhood, not knowing which way to go or what I was going to see I just walked and it felt so good! Ben asleep in his stroller and me just seeing the world around me.
All the beautiful gardens, and cozy cottages all nestled in quaint Berkeley neighborhoods. We walked for almost 2 hours and I couldn't of been more relaxed and rested. Walking in silence is one of the best things to do ...
I need to get rid of the story that I can't have these kinds of walks all the time...carving out a bit of time every day isn't so hard...so why make it hard to do!? Here is where I gid rid of the story...and here is where I start taking these kinds of walks...and maybe picking up Ben for a walk every now and then will be a treat for us all!
When we got back Andrea was rejuvinated by all the things she accomplished and so was I.
A beautiful ending to a much needed week off.
