the walk around the zoo with my parents, kadison and t ~ watching the lemurs jump from fence to fence, the tortoise who was getting some kind of procedure involving a needle, a watermelon piece, 3 zookeepers, the monkey who was swinging from branch to branch asking for attention, the train that chugged along, the lunch that wasn't eaten by k, the flamingo's and their one-legged stance, the camels that chew so funny and the baby giraffe who is so darn cute.
the store my mom and i walked into that was total choas, the clothes on the floor and strewn everywhere, the women who scooted my mom right off the bench while trying on shoes, the way we just couldn't figure out which sheets were the best - so many things to consider - thread count and the 3 million kinds of cotton....who knew....
the power walk to the park thinking we were both trying to keep up with the other...the leisurely walk back kicking through the leaves
the lazy day and mom sewing the hole in my sweater and the button on my pants
noticing she cleaned my sink by how pearly white it is now
watching k laugh from the horsey ride grampa gave her
the hugs and kisses she gave out
the innocense, the love and the laughter
realizing i didn't take one photo all weekend.....
