a few good moments

~ having someone annonymously pay for our dinner
~ sitting around the kitchen table with a beer
~ having a heart to heart with Tim
~ having an impromptu call with Tina
~ the woman at whole foods helping us out to our car
~ seeing Andrea's "bump"
~ a friend telling me she "got it"
~ watching the SF Fire Dept. play a softball game at the park today
~ watching the baby birds with their moms;learning how to fly...
~ taking a long walk alone the other night and appreciating the silence
~ appreciating the moment where Kadison turns around and scoots backwards into my lap for a story before bed; it gets me every time

sometimes i wonder if i will ever be happy and then these moments happen and i realize it's all about the moments and if they happen more and more that means happiness is really within me. stop wondering so much and start appreciating the now....
