Today we drove down Hwy 1 - along the coast to Santa Cruz.
I needed to get out of the city, I wanted to get away.
Get away from everything that stresses me out and just see the beauty of the ocean, the fog, the sand, the sun peeking out when it wanted, to see the pelicans take flight, dive and sail through the air like perfect calm.
I needed it and I sure I got it.

i love the pelicans!
I went to school at UC Santa Cruz, and the drive down there on Hwy 1 has always been my favorite stretch of scenery.
